“tumblr” - wat is dis?
I enjoy typing things in notepad. I’m not entirely sure why. I have to guess that it’s because I don’t have the option to pander to my perfectionist nature, which is something that slows me down significantly. I can’t change my font. I can’t bold, underline, or italicize anything. I can’t align my words to the center or right of the page. I can’t set up margins or bullets or insert Word Art. …I don’t really know anyone who does that, but it doesn’t matter. I don’t even have to worry about spell check. If I want to continually misspell “committment” “commitment” “comittment” (?????), then I will, dammit! There are no little red lines to serve as a glaring reminder of my idiocy in notepad, no sir.
I love notepad.
Anyway, this is probably going to be used for light blogging, link sharing, video posting, and cam whoring. I don’t know what possessed me to do this, considering I can do any number of those things on my facebook, twitter, myspace, youtube, or other accounts. Perhaps I’m just trying to fill some sort of void in my life by joining as many useless social sites as possible. If so, I’m one step closer to finally being able to feel like a spiratually/mentally/emotionally complete human being.
